I feel inspired to blog today after reviewing my blog statistics. Thank you for being silent readers on my blog, as I was starting to think I was the only one reading my blog =P

Video Exam tomorrow: For most of us, we couldn’t be bothered that much since its not the final determining factor as to whether you pass Pharmacy Practice 3. But still, its good practice for us pharmacists-to-become.

Today I shall talk about CO-OP. CO-OP stands for the co-operative, famous for reduced prices on groceries when they approach their expiry dates. Here are some examples of ridiculously cheap items after their prices have been cut.

Southern Fried Chicken (6 Drumsticks pre-cooked, all you have to do is reheat) – 75p (Original price $2.99)

Box of strawberries – 47p

Box of seedless red grapes – 42p

2Litre of Wholemilk – 10p (expires today)

Bag of Potatoes – 30p

Bunch of spring onions – 16p

And many more… If not mistaken, my seniors have mentioned the most strategic time to pay a visit to the Co-op is about 8pm where stuff that are about to expire are at their lowest prices ever. However, this year the best time I would say is roughly 6pm, because when you live in a place with 116 Malaysians kids the reduced price items tend to go missing very fast before they even peak.

All in all, its always a wise choice to pay a visit down to the Co-op if you have nothing better to do. You never know what you may find. I should get paid for advertising the Co-op. Cheers!
