Journal to the Czech: Part 4 (Final)

Ok guys, hold your breathe for one long, final post about my trip to Czech. I’ll try not to bore you guys to death.

I’m never having cereal for breakfast ever again =.=

After food Vaclav and cousin took us to the city of Hluboká nad Vltavou.

We had a late lunch at a famous Czech restaurant.

Starters: Garlic soup with cheese. In the words of Hui Mei – Delish! Haha.

Main Course : ONE PORK KNUCKLE. ROAR!!!!

It was our lucky day. Vaclav had tickets to a professional hockey match . České Budějovice (home team) was fighting Liberec (away)

It was a close match but sadly away team scored a last minute goal which made the stadium totally silent.

All that cheering made us hungry. Here we have boiled hockey pucks.

Just kidding 🙂 It was a tasty Xmas soup with xmas cake made by Vaclav’s mum. Dyekuji!

Meatloaf with potato egg salad. Gosh I love Czech cooking.

After dinnner we went ice hockey-ing on a frozen lake near Vaclav’s house.

It was a fun experience despite falling down on my ass a few times.

Finally, our journey has come to an end. A little parting gift from Vaclav’s family.

Goodbye Czech Republic. We will miss you dearly. =(

  1. Ice hockey was sooO much fun! Really sorry for giving you bruises though.. Guess I’m not built to handle hockey sticks =P

    OooOhh oOOHhh and the cooooOkies… mmMM~~ There were like.. almost 20 different types.. yuMmmM~~
