Goodbye Msia

Well i was supposed to give a farewell speech during my farewell party but i was so busy having fun that i forgotten about it. Anyway, here it is :

Mom and Dad, Thanks for putting up with me for 21 years. I’m sure it was not an easy task but you guys did a great job. But seriously, i won’t let you guys down. Thanks for everything.

Dear friends,

Thanks for making this effort to chillout with my this one last time before i go to Scotland. I’ve known some of you guys many years ago, and some of you i’ve just met recently. No matter what, you guys have made my life a really meaningful and happy one, and for that im truly grateful.

DJ buddies,

Just one phonecall, and you can bet we will be hanging out at McDs before heading off to takei. I won’t forget the dota sessions, and although ill be gone for many months ill be sure to pawn your asses when i come back.

IMU buddies,

I would never have survived this 2 and a half years in IMU without you guys. Hanging out in the student lounge and playing foosball with you guys is the only time i look forward to going to uni. I also really wanna thank those who’ve been there for me through my downest moments. Thanks a bunch, and lets have a wonderful time in scotland.

DOTA buddies,

I address you guys as my dota buddies coz i dunno what else to call u all. But deep down inside, I consider each and everyone of you as my true friends. I know you guys will be there for me through thick and thin, anytime i feel like dota-ing i can count on you guys. Also, thanks for giving me that tournament experience i’ve always wanted, too bad no chance to join big tourney. But its been fun guys, thanks alot.

Last but not least, every single one of you, you guys know who u are. It has been a pleasure to cross paths with you, and know that my life has been much more colourful thanks to you guys. I won’t forget you all. Do keep in touch.

Penang Trip 2007

…and so i shot it right into the hole with much delight.

That was one of the fun activities i did about 5 days ago.

Daniel had suggested we play carrom, as it was one of his childhood favourites. I never played carrom before, but i thought id give it a shot.

Me and the carrom masters. I was lucky to meet up with some of my friends up north – Kah Wei and Jessy. Unfortunately for them, “carrom” is my middle name. They didn’t stand a chance. Hah! But suprisingly Jessy won after one too many sympathy shots were given to her. I guess “chivalry” is my middle name as well.

Gurney drive, looking out from the carpark of Gurney Plaza. The place has changed so much since the last time i’ve been to Penang, about 6 years ago. The carpark reminds me of Lot 10 thanks to its spiral stairway design.

I was forced to camwhore with Daniel’s younger sis – Mei Yan, despite looking awful after a long day’s journey. Btw, Daniel’s middle name is “speed”. His theory – ” I must go faster than 140km/h lah or not i will kena saman!” and also he has a tendency to pump petrol without switching off the engine. Hmmm if my mum sees this i think i’m in big trouble.

So the next day we had lunch at Kah Wei’s house. His grandma cooks excellent Nasi Lemak. After that we headed to the famous Swatow Lane for Ice Kacang and Oh-Jian.

Jeans

I always have problems finding the right pair of jeans. Coz most jeans from the famous brands are caterred to MEN, with my boyish height the jeans’ cut doesn’t really suit me even after tailoring.

Example of a jeans with perfect cut to suit the height. I can NEVER achieve this. Either i step on my jeans or it just falls badly on my shoes.

Fashion tip for guys : Fat shoes =Fat Pants. Thin Shoes = Thing Pants.

Random thoughts

I normally bring 2 keys when i go out. House key + Car keys. But dont know why i have this tendency to bring 2 sets of house keys and no car keys. And i only realise it after i securely locked my car. This sucks.

Why do people tend to add “www” infront of their blog addresses when clearly their site is accessible without the “www” in front of it ? In fact i think it looks better without the www. Haha.

As much as 80% of red dye has faded off my hair. Which means RM 55x 80% has gone down the drain in less than a week’s time. U do the math.
